These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the CookieFix platform (cookiefix.ro) and all related services. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

• "Service" — the CookieFix cookie consent management platform, including the dashboard, API, widget, and scanner.
• "User" — any individual or organization that creates an account and uses the Service.
• "Account" — the user's registered profile on cookiefix.ro.
• "Domain" — a website added by the User to the Service for cookie scanning and consent management.

2. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You agree to update your information promptly if it changes.

3. Service Description

CookieFix provides a consent management platform that includes:

• Automatic website scanning to identify cookies and tracking technologies.
• A customizable consent banner widget for visitor consent collection.
• Automatic script blocking before visitor consent is obtained.
• Consent analytics, logging, and compliance reporting.
• A cookie declaration page for transparency about cookies used.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
• Distribute malware, spam, or other harmful content through the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts.
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality.

5. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, depending on the billing cycle you select. All prices are in EUR and exclude applicable taxes. Payment is processed through our payment provider (Stripe).

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, except during the 14-day money-back guarantee period for new subscriptions.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. CookieFix does not guarantee that the Service will ensure full legal compliance with any specific regulation. You remain responsible for your website's compliance with applicable laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CookieFix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your dashboard settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved by the competent courts in Bucharest, Romania. For EU consumers, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may also apply.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
